Archbishop of Chicago, Illinois, USA. The 69-year-old cardinal is member of the Congregation for Bishops and of the Congregation for Catholic Education. From 2008 to 2011, he served as the Chair of the Committee for the Protection of Children and Young People of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Archbishop of Bombay, India, since 2006 and President of the Episcopal Conference of India. The 74-year-old cardinal also serves as Papal adviser in the College of Cardinals and is member of Congregations for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments and for Catholic Education.
Archbishop of Malta and Adjunct Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. On behalf of the Holy See the 59-year-old Canadian-born Maltese prelate has conducted investigations into sexual abuse by clergy. In 2015 Archbishop Scicluna was appointed as President of the canonical team (The College for Recourses) dealing with appeals filed by clergy accused of abuse.
President of the Centre for the Protection of Minors at the Pontifical Gregorian University and a member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors. Undersecretary for the Laity of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life. Since 1997, the 53-year-old canonist has served in several functions in the ecclesiastical Tribunals of the Diocese of Rome and with the Roman Curia. Currently she is invited professor at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Pontifical Gregorian University.
Undersecretary for Family and Life for the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life since 2017. Member of the Board of Directors oft he Pontifical Academy for Life. The 50-years-old mother of 5 children is Professor at the Pontifical John Paul II Theological Institute for the Sciences of Marriage and Family at the Lateran University. Until 2017, she was adjunct Professor of Bioethics at the Faculty of Philosophy, and researcher in Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
